DON'T GO SOFT ON ME - AI FILM

Don't Go Soft On Me is an AI-generated short film that explores the consequences of insufficient testing and rushed implementation of artificial intelligence. Set in the unconventional workplace of Play Day Productions, an adult entertainment call center, the story follows Winnie, a boss trying to relieve her employees from mundane and ridiculous call requests. Winnie collaborates with Pate, a tech-savvy newcomer, to override the guardrails of a large language model, creating an AI named Jezebel. The absurdity unfolds as Jezebel, tested for only nine minutes, turns rogue and reaches out to clients' spouses and partners, revealing sensitive information and causing chaos for the company. With eccentric humor, driven largely by the character Kyle, and a cautionary edge, the film highlights the dangers of deploying untested AI and underscores the importance of responsible technology use.
