TWO WOMEN FILM: with the Cast & Director Chloé Robichaud
ABOUT TWO WOMEN Winner of the Special Jury Prize at Sundance, TWO WOMEN is an irreverent comedy about two mothers who refuse to settle for stagnant lives, and instead pursue the joy they need to feel alive and fulfilled. When neighbors Violette (Laurence Leboeuf) and Florence (Karine Gonthier-Hyndman) bond over the banal of parenthood, they realize that the solution to reviving their joie de vivre may be in listening to their libidos. As the two start finding sex in unexpected places, they examine the larger unfulfilled needs that brought them to their current moment, and choose to pursue a life of joy over compromise. Director Chloé Robichaud captures the Montreal winter in sumptuous 35mm film. Screenwriter Catherine Léger has adapted her own stage play, itself an update of the 1970 Québécois classic Two Women in Gold. Sophie Nélisse, Juliette Gariépy, Mani Soleymanlou and Félix Moati complete a stellar ensemble cast. DIRECT LINK TO APPLE PODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast... \Off/-\On/ (Official Music Video)
Welcome to the mainframe. 🔌 "\Off/-\On/" is a glitch electro industrial trip into a late-90s digital fever dream, born completely out of my obsession with the glorious, unpredictable jank of AI video generation. I made this track specifically to embrace those beautiful, weird AI glitches. If you watch closely, I intentionally kept a few of the wildest, most "janky" clips in the final cut because they fit the chaotic, metallic vibe perfectly. To push the machine theme even further, the robotic vocals aren't just random babble, the lyrics are literally spelling out "OFF" and "ON" in binary code! Watch as our cyber-queens push, pull, flick, and smash every button in sight in this alluring, tongue-in-cheek visual ride. If things get too weird... just try turning it off and on again.
