States of Collapse” is a vertical digital artwork blending generative AI and manual editing to create a poetic sequence of surreal character portraits. Each chapter — Melting, Burning, Drowning, Falling — explores a moment of identity disintegration through cinematic aesthetics and fragmented voiceovers. The visuals were generated with Sora and Higgsfield using refined prompts crafted via ChatGPT, while the still image prompts for Midjourney ensured stylistic cohesion. All voiceover texts were written in collaboration with ChatGPT, then synthesized using ElevenLabs. Final editing, subtitles, and sound design were completed manually in CapCut. The result is a hybrid, emotionally-charged piece oscillating between dystopia, abstraction, and intimate narrative.” Director - William Hardouin
