DNA is an experimental visual essay about isolation, disconnection, and the quiet collapse of human connection in the age of machines. It began with a poem by Dr. Wayne Nolan Miller, a classical musician and Lutheran bishop, reflecting on the fading world around him. His son, producer and composer Aaron Miller, set the piece to music, blending real instruments with AI-generated elements. He then invited director Chris May to shape the visual language. The result is a haunting, nonlinear meditation on our relationship with technology, where people are lost in crowds, fed by screens, and clawing for meaning. DNA asks: if our code is breaking, what part of us still remembers how to begin again? Director - Chris May
