Sony Thought Demon Souls Would Flop!

Following 30 years at Sony, Shuehei Yoshida has been revealing several details from his time with the company including why FromSoftware left Sony after Demon Souls. Yoshida said that FromSoftware was disappointed that Sony refused to publish Demon Souls in the West, with Yoshida himself admitting he did not see the games appeal. According to Yoshida Sony was interested in a Demon Souls 2 but FromSoftware decided to work with Banda Namco on what later become Dark Souls. Good or bad that FromSoftware left Sony in the dust?
