Silvan de Smit - J.S. Bach - Choral BWV 147

Dear people, I'm glad to share this recording with you. This is the Choral of BWV 147, composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. This is an arrangement I've recently made, for solo guitar. The original work by Bach is part of a cantata written for a choir, ensemble and soloists. The title "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" was first used in 1926 when Dame Myra Hess published a piano transcription of the piece. It is the English and common title for the chorale from Bach's cantata "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben," composed in 1723. To support the channel - subscribe, like and comment.
