Laundrygate the Verse

I started writing Laundrygate as a work of fiction and a way to explore the question of what if. What if the world as we know it experienced a great event—one that quietly, irrevocably altered our existence? Laundrygate: Strange Stories About the Future emerged from that curiosity. It explored the wild, often bizarre consequences of emerging technologies—AI, the metaverse, environmental shifts—and how they ripple through culture, identity, and everyday life. These stories weren’t predictions as much as explorations: imaginative spaces where technology collides with human behavior in unexpected ways. Laundrygate: the Verse goes deeper. This book expands the world and turns inward, exploring not just technology itself, but the meaning of reality in an age where reality can be simulated, fragmented, and redefined. It asks quieter, more philosophical questions about perception, consciousness, power, and choice. Before writing each book, I spend time immersing myself in different technologies—studying them, living with them, observing how they shape our behavior and thinking. Some are so intriguing, so full of possibility and consequence, that they beg to be written about. Fiction becomes my way of working through those possibilities—of exploring scenarios that logic alone can’t fully hold. Laundrygate exists as a space for curiosity, speculation, and reflection.
