Death Stranding and Metal Gear More Movie Than Video Game?

Hideo Kojima said in a recent interview that while his games are often viewed as similar to movies, at their core he strives to create video games. Kojima did say that the movie adaption of Death Stranding he hopes to show a "new dimension" of game to movie adaption. Kojima also briefly touched on his new project OD, a game he is working on with Jordan Peele, in addition to Death Stranding 2 which is set to release next year.
