Dancers in Suminagashi

We just won Best Experimental, Best Choreography, and Best Art Direction at the AI International Music Video Festival! Dancers in Suminagashi began as an experiment in fusion art and letting go of what a traditional dance film might look like. I wanted to create something minimal, modern, and new, like nothing quite made before. Ken Weissman’s original score was always the true star, and I wanted to honor his music with something worthy of it's beauty. I hope it feels that way when you watch. I am deeply grateful to Ken Weissman for trusting me with his music and this vision.
