I was challenged during the Christmas Holiday (2024) by my wild minded friend known as CryptoRabbits.ETH. He sent me an image of absurdity—a rabbit in a banana suit. Okay, always down for a dare, a destiny. The Absconder doesn’t look like the image, at all. (Or maybe it does in another dimension?) It does have the same energy though: unpredictable, hilarious, and just slightly unhinged. Six weeks. 200+ frames. A skater rabbit tearing through the streets of NYC, dodging trouble, carving chaos, and weaving through a city that never slows down. It’s fast, it’s funny, and it’s got that eclectic pulse of a friend’s wild imagination—a friend who is kind, humble, and giving, the kind of person who sparks ideas that take on a life of their own. Does this animated short do the original challenge justice? Only time will tell. A memory of a lifetime on stage of AI's Got Talent! Out steps a woman we don’t know, holding nothing more than a branch of a tree. She seems placid, down to earth — she feels centered and solid. Then, in a dazzling twist, she starts to change! Her human form stretches and blends as she transforms into a beautiful chimera—half human, half forest spirit—as vines, leaves and bark entwine her body. As she spins and flicks her long hair — the audience gasps at her otherworldly grace, she is nature raw and unfettered. And just when you think it can’t get more magical, she metamorphoses again, this time into a great, giant tree, roots splayed across the stage, leaves gleaming under the lights. The audience breaks out into otherworldly cheers, spellbound by the grace and ethereality of her performance. Who is she? A guardian of the forest? A living legend? Ink Rhythms: Poetic Metamorphosis
"Ink Rhythms: Poetic Metamorphosis" is an experimental work that speaks through the language of traditional Chinese ink. Beginning with the diffusion of a single ink drop, it unfolds a visual poetry that spans traditional and contemporary aesthetics. The journey flows from the transformation of the Tai Chi symbol to the spirited movement of goldfish in lotus ponds, from the elegance of birds in landscapes to the graceful gestures of martial artists and dancers, culminating in a vision of a bustling urban environment animated by the strokes of ink. The flowing ink narrates the passage between tradition and modernity. This film is fully created using AI technologies across all aspects of production including key frames images, footages and background music. Through artificial intelligence technology, this work explores innovative expressions of traditional ink art in the digital age, revealing the boundless possibilities of Eastern aesthetics in a contemporary context.
