After EA shot down rumors months ago of a sequel to the hit Battle Royale Apex Legends, this could be changing after engagement continues to decline. Andrew Wilson EA CEO said that after the latest season has fallen short said that a "more meaningful update" is needed and that one is coming for Apex. However Wilson said that the update will not arrive before the next Battlefield which is set for an April 2026 release.
