Elden Ring Nightreign the co-op game set in the Elden Ring universe coming in 2025 will only allow players to play either solo or in a group of three, and has no plans to allow two player co-op. Game director Junya Ishizaki did confirm that enemy health pool will scale depending on group size, and said the reason for the three player focus was to "retain a sense of accomplishment you get from battling a boss together."
