Mike Clopper former Game Director for a cancelled Halo Battle Royale mode, said on LinkedIn that he believes a Halo battle Royale would have been a game changer for the franchise. Recently 343 was rebranded to Halo Studies along with a switch to Unreal Engine 5 as the future engine of Halo games.
