Stoner Cats is an animated short series developed over ten years by 3 seasoned creators: Ash Brannon (Toy Story 2, Arcane), Chris Cartagena (Happy Feet, The Grinch), and Sarah Cole (Spider-Verse 1 & 2). The show explores life, loyalty, and second chances with humor and heart, centering on Ms. Stoner, a vibrant matriarch battling early Alzheimer's (a battle inspired by Sarah's mother), and her five aging house cats who accidentally gain sentience after a mix-up with her "special supply." With newfound intelligence and insatiable munchies, these cats embark on wacky escapades, tackle existential dilemmas, and do everything in their power to protect their beloved (if occasionally clueless) human.
